Archana Padmini

Actor | Film Curator | Cultural Organizer

Archana Padmini is a South Indian actor, curator, and cultural worker with a background in English literature. A dynamic presence in Malayalam independent cinema, Archana works across performance, programming, and advocacy. She is a founding member of the PK Rosy Film Society and Minimal Cinema, both of which promote women-led and experimental film practices.

She is also an active member of the Women in Cinema Collective (WCC), where she contributes to ongoing conversations around gender equality in the film industry. Archana’s work as a curator involves organizing film screenings, festivals, and panel discussions that center feminist and anti-caste perspectives. Through her roles in performance and public programming, she remains committed to reshaping cinema’s institutional frameworks from within.
