Gireesh Raman is a Bipolar artist who was born in Karakkunnu, a village in the Malappuram district of Kerala. He received his education in Karakunnu, Manjeri, and Perinthalmanna. However, he lost faith in formal education and dropped out of college. He works as a cinematographer, photographer, art curator and barista.

മലപ്പുറം മുണ്ടുപറമ്പ് സ്വദേശി . ഇപ്പോൾ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് താമസം. ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫിയും യാത്രയും വായനയും മ്യൂസിക്കും ഏറെയിഷ്ടം. കുട്ടികൾക്ക് പക്ഷിനിരീക്ഷണത്തിൽ താൽപര്യം ജനിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി "വീട്ടിലെത്തിയ വിരുന്നുകാർ" എന്ന ഒരു പുസ്തകം രചിച്ചു. ബാലസാഹിത്യ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ആണ് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചത്. ലൈറ്റ്സോഴ്സ് ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫി ഗ്രൂപ്പിൻ്റെ ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫർ ഓഫ് ദി ഇയർ 2024 പുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ചു. ഫോട്ടോമ്യൂസ്, ലൈറ്റ്സോഴ്സ് എന്നിവയിൽ അംഗമാണ്. 2013 മുതൽ എല്ലാ വർഷവും ഫോട്ടോ എക്സിബിഷനുകളിൽ പങ്കാളിയായിട്ടുണ്ട്. Abstract ചിത്രങ്ങളാണ് ഈ സീരിസിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളത്.

A nature lover and photography enthusiast from Munduparamba, Malappuram with 12 years experience in photography. Presently working as a Financial consultant at Thiruvananthapuram after retirement from Govt Service as Senior Finance officer. His work has received acclaim in national level competitions including Juror's Choice image in the Landscape category of the '22 DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION, 2022' by Photomuse, Special mention award in National level photography contest 2025 in wildlife category by Mediamates, Best photographer award in wildlife category in LA-LUMIERE 2024 by Pituresque-Worldwide Kolkatha and Consolation prize in National level photography contest 2025 in wildlife category by Photographers co-op Society, Thiruvananthapuram. Latheef is interested in nature and wildlife photography. Conservation is also an interested area. Trying my level best to make awareness among public to protect nature through various group activities, surveys etc. Also specially focused in experimental photography, especially in slow shutter and motion blur. Such images are presented here.
SABARI JANAKI
Photographer, Traveller & Writer
A passionate conservation photographer, traveler, and writer with over 15 years of experience in wildlife photography. A true nature enthusiast, he deeply respects Mother Nature and uses his work to raise awareness about wildlife and ecosystems.
He has received several major honors, including the Sanctuary Asia Photography Award, three Kerala State Wildlife Photography Awards, and was a finalist in the NHM London Wildlife Photographer of the Year. In total, he has won over 10 major national and international photography awards. His photographs and articles have been widely published across various print and digital media.
Currently, he works as a Livestock Inspector in the Animal Husbandry Department, Kerala. He also plays an active role in conservation, serving as an Advisory Board Member of the Karimpuzha Wildlife Sanctuary, Nilambur, and is a Founder Member of the Society for Tropical Ecology and Research (STEAR), Nilambur.
SUDHEER C.
Self-taught Artist & Photographer
Sudheer C is a self-taught photographer and visual artist with over 25 years of experience. He began his career by documenting daily life and gradually moved into capturing live performances such as theatre, traditional dance forms like Kutiyattam and Nangiarkoothu, and other conceptual works. His photography is closely connected to the world of performance and often reflects the influence of theatre.
Sudheer has showcased his work in group exhibitions at Durbar Hall Art Gallery, Ernakulam, and was featured in the Photo Muse Journal (2017). He has collaborated with several leading cultural institutions, including the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi, Natyasastra Center for Theatre Studies, and Krishnan Nambiar Mizhavu Kalari. In 2023, he received a grant from the Kerala Lalitha Kala Akademi for his project Closed Body, a photo series portraying actors in Kerala during the COVID-19 lockdown. This work was later exhibited in a traditional home in Chembra village and again at Durbar Hall, reflecting his commitment to community-based and experimental art.

ശ്രീജിത്ത് കോഴിക്കോട് നിന്നുള്ള ഒരു സ്ട്രീറ്റ്/ഡോക്യൂമെന്ററി ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫറാണ്. ഏകദേശം 10 വർഷമായി ശ്രീജിത്ത് സ്ട്രീറ്റ് ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫിയിൽ പരിശീലിക്കുന്നു. 2019 പാരിസ് സ്ട്രീറ്റ് ഫോട്ടോഗ്രഫി ഫെസ്റ്റിവലിൽ അവാർഡ് ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു, കേരള ലളിത കലാ അക്കാദമിയുടെ ഗ്രാന്റ് വിന്നറും ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം പയ്യന്നുർ കോളേജിലെ ഫിസിക്സ് അധ്യാപകൻ കൂടിയാണ്.

Shabeer Thurakkal, from Kumbidi in Kerala’s Palakkad district, is an acclaimed wildlife photographer and cinematographer with over 15 years of experience. A librarian by profession, his true passion lies in capturing nature’s raw essence with patience and respect. His work has received national and international acclaim, including the Wildlife India Photography Award by Better Photography Magazine and a feature in BBC Wildlife Magazine’s Your Shot competition. He was also named Best Cinematographer at the New Wave Short Film Festival, and his short film won the Kerala State Wildlife Department’s competition. Blending artistic vision with a deep commitment to conservation, Shabeer documents lesser-seen aspects of wildlife to inspire awareness and protection.
